About me:

My first memory of school is walking into my classroom on the first day of prep, clutching my parents as they led me in.

I learn/work best when under pressure, at the last minute. I also work better when listening to certain types of music, mostly instrumental/drone type of stuff that helps me get into a certain zone, while not distracting me too much.

My worst trait is I get very frustrated when stressed. Even though I tend to work better under pressure, I can often annoy people around me.

My best trait is: I've spent about ten minutes trying to think of an answer to this question, but for some reason I cannot think of a single thing.

I often wonder what people around me are thinking.

The last possession I would ever give up is my Guitar. I spend the majority of my time playing it, and I would honestly feel a little lost about it.

This term I am looking forward to going on trails in the city

An image I would put on a post card for Melbourne is: A photo of one of my favourite stores, the Music Swop Shop.

If I could sit next to any Melbourne person on a tram: I don't actually know many famous people from Melbourne, so I guess I would choose one of my friends.

If I could invite any three people to have dinner with me, I would invite Elliott Smith, because I think he is a musical genius who died much too young, Friedrich Nietzsche, because I think he would be absolutely fascinating, and Phil Elverum, because I am a huge fan of his music, and I would love to talk about how he created some of the sounds on his music.

Describe Melbourne in three words: Fun, Fashionable, and Vibrant

  1. Maybe your best trait is modesty? Or you are probably being too hard on yourself. Great to read this and get to know you a little more, Aleksei. Remember to include more images in your posts in the future to engage readers with multimedia.
